PLEASE NOTE THE BELOW GUIDANCE:
P1/2 Children will now be collected from their class at the end of the school day
They’ll be taken to the gym hall to get ready but it makes things much faster if they have their sports kit under their uniform if possible
Children MUST be collected at the fire exit at the bottom of the gym hall facing the MUGA and dropped off at the top fire exit into the hall
Any child in the P1/2 class not attending for any reason MUST notify me before the session starts

Our head chef Lynne, has made some changes to our menu and replaced some of the less popular choices with more popular ones.
Wednesday – Chilli is being replaced with Pasta Bolognaise
Thursday – Veggie Pasta will be Tomato Pasta.
Monday – Quorn Mince will be replaced by Baked Potato with Tuna or Coleslaw.
The nursery menu choices will remain the same and can be downloaded from the Highland Council Website https://www.highland.gov.uk/downloads/file/22853/early_years_2-option_menu
Fantastic to see so many energised children getting outside, working together, and enjoying fresh air and physical activity.
Great job by all our fabulous PSA team in helping to create this really lovely and happy atmosphere
Tomorrow 17th August the lunch menu will change slightly to pasta bolognese instead of chilli and rice.
What a fantastic, exhilarating day we have all had here at MOL today. Such a powerful range of experiences – collaboration, deeper learning, friendship building and fun – what can be better than this?
All the children arrived at both the nursery and school today so positive and energised – big smiles all round. Thanks for your support parents/carers and families you are immense
A really special thanks goes out to all the outstanding MOL staff who give so much – it was so evident in bucket loads today. Without all of your 100% commitment, spirit and creativity none of this would be possible.
Really looking forward to seeing what tomorrow will bring us all.
Many thanks, Robert
In preparation for all the children successfully starting on Tuesday at the Nursery/ELC and school, please be aware that a new road layout has now been successfully constructed for all traffic.
A traffic island has now been built over the summer in order to safely filter traffic between the new nursery/ELC and school. A photograph is provided below to help give everyone a little heads up what this now looks like coming towards the island, with the flow/direction of traffic being highlighted in red.
Please do take your time when coming in on Tuesday, it will obviously take time for us all to get used to….!!!!!
Looking forward to saying a big welcoming “hello” to one and all on Tuesday morning.
Please remember that childcare bookings are not carried over from the previous school year. If you require your child to be booked into breakfast and/or afterschool club from the 16th August onwards, you will need to complete a new booking form. Spaces are limited and will be allocated on first come first serve basis.
Here is the August booking form: https://forms.gle/mZFA9UQ7VffUJkJc7
Please read all the information at the top of the booking form before completing.
Enjoy the last week of your holidays
I spent a great morning today taking in the official opening of the new Hydro Ness Centre on the beautiful banks of the the River Ness. What a fantastic, indeed award winning, idea for harnessing the untapped power and sustainability of the river in creating a truly renewable energy source for generations to come.
On top of this, the structure looks very cool also, wrapped in its metal shell just like the armour on a massive armadillo. It really does extend the opportunities to walk and cycle a little further down the River Ness. Carry on and you will eventually join up with the canal.
What is more powerful to this legacy “Hydro Ness” is that it is indeed the award winning name created one of our own MOL students – Grace Mackenzie who will be shortly moving onto Millburn Academy. Now how powerful and awe inspiring is that to us all …..!!!!!
Please do keep well and healthy and continue to enjoy the summer.
